Master Grooming Tools® Ergonomic Dematting Tool measures 6 3/4". Available in 6 and 9 blade styles. Each is blister-packed for retail display. Replacement blades are also available.

Material: Ribbed rubber grip and sharp stainless steel blades
Size: Each measures 6 3/4"; Available in 6 and 9 blade styles

INSTRUCTIONS:

FOR REMOVAL OF MATS:

First, comb or brush the area to straighten and clean the coat.
Insert the tips of the tool into the base of the mat and gently stroke out toward the tips of the hair. Dense mats may require a gentle rotation of the wrist to produce a sawing motion. For sensitive pets, you may want to start with the outside of the mat first, and progressively cut deeper into the mat.
Whenever possible, hold pet's hair at the skin, below the mat, to reduce pulling while mats are being removed.

TO REMOVE, SWITCH OR REPLACE BLADES:
Insert a screwdriver into the handle recess. Push the bolts out toward the head of the dematting tool. Use pliers to pull the bolts out of the tool head. The blades can then be removed from the tool using pliers. Reverse and reinsert blades for left handed use.

CAUTION: Do not remove blades by hand. The recessed edges of the blades are sharp.
